Pitch Perfect 3 trailer sees Ruby Rose face off against Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson's Bellas

The Barden Bellas have returned, and this time they're finding the adult world rather unpalatable when their real passion still lies with acapella. That's set to change, however, when they get the chance to reunite for an overseas USO tour and things swiftly turning into a jet-setting, high-flying European adventure.

It's almost guaranteed Pitch Perfect 3 will be a strong hit upon release, considering the franchise has so far taken in more than $400 million at the global box office. Add to that its starry addition Ruby Rose, leader of a new rival band who have the slight advantage of being able to play their own instruments.

Rose joins returning cast members Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Hana Mae Lee, Ester Dean, Alexis Knapp, Chrissie Fit, Kelly Jakle, Shelley Regner, and John Michael Huggins.

Elizabeth Banks was originally slated to return as director, but was forced to step down due to scheduling issues; she still returns to her role in the film, however, and has stayed on in a producing role. It's Step Up All In's Trish Sie who's now taken on the directorial mantle.
