In Tuesday's episode of A Place in the Sun (June 11), host Laura Hamilton found herself in a tricky situation when house hunters Bob and Vida firmly rejected a property on the Peloponnese Coast. The couple, who were searching for their dream retirement home in Greece with a budget of £410,000, immediately dismissed a modern property priced at £436,271.

Vida was quick to criticise the property's proximity to a busy road, calling it "awful" from the outset. Despite Laura's efforts to highlight the home's ready-to-move-in condition and its stunning panoramic views, Vida remained unimpressed.

Laura even jokingly tried to prevent them from enjoying the view too early, saying "you're not allowed" to look just yet. However, the visit was abruptly ended by Bob, who said: "It would be a waste of time because we don't like the location."

Laura, maintaining her professionalism, accepted their decision, conceding: "That's that which seems a great shame but if it's not in the right location then there's nothing I can do about that," reports the Mirror.

The house hunting journey was quite a challenge for Bob and Vida, with the couple finding little to their taste until the final search. The fifth property they viewed was priced just over £325,000, leading them to make an offer of £295,000, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Their delight was uncontainable when their revised bid of £302,500 was accepted, securing them their new home.
