This plus-size blogger slays in 'fat Mariah Carey' costume

The CurvyCon co-founder and plus size blogger Chastity Garner Valentine has given such a laugh-out-loud and spot-on rendition of pop singer Mariah Carey for Halloween that her costume has gone viral.

Garner self-titled her Halloween look “Fat Mariah.” In her blog, she said that when she saw video of the singer’s performance in Las Vegas where she is barely dancing while singing her hit song “Honey,” she instantly knew she wanted to dress up as her for Halloween. “I thought with a little make-up I could be her fat doppelganger,” she shared.

Carey’s diva and unapologetic attitude are what inspired the blogger to recreate her. She wrote, ” I love that Mariah does exactly what she wants to do and how she wants to do. She’s a legend. In addition to giving you an amazing voice, she gives you diva in the true sense of the word.”

The Twitterverse is praising the Georgia-based blogger’s Halloween costume idea.

It’s safe to say Garner wins at least some part of Halloween this year.
