Plymouth Argyle player ratings from come-from-behind 1-1 draw against QPR

Here are the player ratings of Plymouth Live's Argyle reporter Chris Errington from the Pilgrims' 1-1 draw with Queens Park Rangers at Home Park. You can give your marks too using our special widget further down this story.

Michael Cooper 6 - Made one excellent save from a one-on-one with QPR's Paul Smyth when the score was still 0-0 in the second half. Was unfortunate when he did well to push away a Jimmy Dunne header only for Rangers to keep the ball alive and it led to Sam Field putting the visitors ahead.

Ashley Phillips 6 - The 18-year-old was beaten to the ball from an Ilias Chair corner as Jimmy Dunne got in the header which was parried away by Michael Cooper, only for Lyndon Dykes to hook the ball back and eventually Sam Field got the decisive touch. Phillips was then replaced by Julio Pleguezuelo before play restarted.

Dan Scarr 8 STAR MAN - Was caught out once when he was robbed of the ball by Lyndon Dykes, who set up Paul Smyth for a one-on-one chance against Michael Cooper which he could not convert. Otherwise, this was a strong display from Scarr, who made a superb headed clearance from off the goal-line after a second half cross from Smyth had deflected over Michael Cooper.

Lewis Gibson 7 - Lined up on the left of Argyle's defensive trio, a position from which his reliable defending means that wing-back Bali Mumba has the freedom to push forward more than he might otherwise. Went close to a second half goal which would have put the Pilgrims with a shot which flashed across the face of goal after he had gone up for a corner.

Joe Edwards 6 - Not too much was seen from the Argyle captain and right wing-back in an attacking sense but he was typically diligent when it came to his defensive duties and making important clearances inside the box.

Adam Randell 6 - Was the perhaps surprising choice to take a 30-yard free-kick in the first half instead of Morgan Whittaker and fired the ball over the crossbar. Argyle's own goal equaliser in the 85th minute came from Randell's inswinging corner which goalkeeper Asmir Begovic came out to punch clear but failed to do so.

Jordan Houghton 5 - Had a quiet game by his high standards of this season on his 150th appearance for Argyle and was substituted just before the hour mark.

Bali Mumba 7 - Definitely seems to have rediscovered some of his attacking zest by playing at left wing-back recently, although he needs to come up with better end product when in promising positions. Mumba did have one fierce shot pushed away by Asmir Begovic shortly before Argyle drew level.

Morgan Whittaker 7 - Was Argyle's main goal threat with shots from distance. He had one attempt from a central position in the first half which flashed just wide and then he almost caught out Asmir Begovic at his near post in the second period when he whipped in a free-kick from out wide on the right.

Callum Wright 5 - Did have one decent scoring opportunity in the first half, when he received the ball back from Joe Edwards in a good shooting position but sent the ball flying over the crossbar from the edge of the box, but otherwise did not have make much of an attacking impact on the match.

Ryan Hardie 5 - Always a willing runner, things are just not clicking for Hardie at the moment and perhaps giving him a breather even for just for one game and using him as a second half substitute instead would benefit him.

SUBSTITUTES

Adam Forshaw 7 - Was neat and tidy on the ball after he took over from Jordan Houghton in central midfield in the 59th minute.

Matty Sorinola 6 - Did not provide the attacking impetus at right wing-back as a 59th minute substitute as Argyle would have hoped for. He did get into one very good crossing position but could not pick out a team-mate with his cut-back.

Mustapha Bundu 6 - Played up front with Ben Waine after both were sent on as 66th minute substitutes, in his case replacing Callum Wright. He was putting Albert Adomah under pressure when the QPR substitute conceded the 85th minute own goal which earned the Pilgrims a point.

Ben Waine 6 - Replaced Ryan Hardie but no real scoring opportunities came his way while he was on the pitch, even though he was quite lively.

Julio Pleguezuelo 6 - Took over from Ashley Phillips on the right of Argyle's back line in the 74th minute.

Substitutes (not used): Conor Hazard, Mickel Miller, Alfie Devine, Brendan Galloway.
