Police appeal over robbery at Morrisons store in North Wales

A new appeal has been made to catch two robbers who targeted a Morrisons store in North Wales. The incident took place at the fuel station shop at the supermarket site in Saltney, Flintshire.

They threatened staff before fleeing the scene into a nearby housing estate. It was captured on CCTV.

The incident took place six months ago but police have today re-issued the appeal in a bid to find the men.

North Wales Police said: "We are re-appealing for help to identify the two men pictured below who carried out a robbery at a fuel station in Saltney. The incident happened at Morrison’s fuel station at 7am on Wednesday, November 22nd last year, and was captured on CCTV.

"The pair entered the kiosk and threatened a member of staff before fleeing across the A5104 road and entering a nearby residential area."

Detective Constable Simon Letch said: “The men pictured below wore dark clothing and face coverings to hide their identity, but we are hoping somebody might recognise them from the CCTV images. Anyone with any information that might assist with our investigation is urged to get in touch with us either via our website, or by calling 101, quoting reference 23001172546.”
