Police appeal after woman assaulted in alleyway in seaside town

A woman was assaulted in an alleyway in a seaside town. Police have appealed for information about the incident in Colwyn Bay.

The incident happened in the Park Road and Grove Park area two days ago. North Wales Police posted their request for witnesses or anyone who can help their enquiries to come forward.

The force appealed for help on its its NWP West Conwy Coastal Facebook page. It stated that the incident is reported to have happened in an alleyway between Park Road and Grove Park between 5.30pm and 6pm on Wednesday, April 24.

Detective Sergeant Mark Bamber said: “I am looking to speak to anybody who was in the area at the time of the incident, or anybody who witnessed anything suspicious around the time it happened.

“I am also asking anybody with CCTV in and around the area of Park Road and Grove Park, or anybody who was driving in the area at the time and might have dashcam footage, to get in touch with us at the earliest opportunity.
