Police have closed a Huntington home linked to crime and anti-social behaviour. Officers said there were "frequent reports" of anti-social behaviour, noise complaints along with allegations of drug dealing and drug use coming from the address.

The closure order for 4 St George’s Court was granted following an application by neighbourhood officers and a hearing at Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court. It means the property will be partially closed for three months, with restrictions on who can visit.

Under the order, the tenant at the address can remain living there. However it will prevent visits from others apart from their immediate family, the property agent and emergency services until September 26.

PC Ross Spalthoff, from the Huntingdonshire Neighbourhood Team, said: “Residents living in the surrounding streets of the property have endured no end of anti-social behaviour and drug related incidents. The partial closure order will allows the tenant to remain living at the address but will prevent those who have been attending to commit anti-social behaviour and other criminal offences.”

The order, granted under the Anti-Social Behaviour and Policing Act 2014, means that anyone found visiting the home unlawfully could be arrested.
