Police Help Deliver Baby in Minnesota Parking Lot

Police officers were called to an unexpected task when they helped deliver a baby in the back of a car in a parking lot in St Louis Park, Minnesota, on June 14.

Footage released by the St Louis Park Police Department shows police cars getting to the scene and two female police officers rushing to the car. Other officers are seen getting to the car to help.

“I was focused on the mom and making sure the baby cried when [he] came out and make sure [he] was breathing,” officer Maddie Turnquist, one of those who helped deliver the baby, told WCCO.

The baby was named Theo and he’s in good health, his grandfather told WCCO. Credit: St Louis Park Police Department via Storyful
