Police hunt after 79-year-old left with life-changing injuries in Hounslow road rage attack

The Metropolitan Police have released a digital image of a man they want to speak to after a violent road rage incident in Feltham.

On Tuesday, April 2, the police were called about an assault that had taken place on Friday, February 16 in which a 79-year-old man was left with life-changing injuries.

The victim was driving along Staines Road when his car was blocked by another car, driven by a man in his 30s. The man in his 30s, described as a white man aged in his 30s with light brown hair and a beard, got out of his car and started arguing with the victim.

This ended with the victim being attacked.

Detective Constable Rory Atkins from West Area Command Unit said: “We have been made aware that two elderly women witnessed the attack, the two women also came to the aid of the victim after he had been assaulted.

“We are keen to hear from these two women and hope that speaking with them will help us find the person responsible."
