Police Hunt 'Pandas' After Newsagents Robbed

Police are chasing two men dressed as pandas after armed robbers targeted a newsagents.

The men walked into the shop on Eastgate in Louth, Lincolnshire, at around 7.30pm on Sunday, armed with what appeared to be a handgun.

Police say the men then forced a female member of staff to take cash from the till and to hand it over to them.

They then left the scene on foot, leaving the woman shaken but unhurt.

Local residents have been asked to check their bins for any panda onesies that may have been dumped and detectives are also asking to hear from any retailers who remember selling two of the suits recently.
