Police Investigate Series of Armed Robberies Across NSW

Masked thieves held up a number of different establishments in northern New South Wales over an 18-month period, as shown in CCTV footage published by police on Friday, June 23.

The robberies – which police confirmed were possibly connected – began with a licensed premises in Sawtell in 2015 and continued with another bottle shop in February 2016 in Coffs Harbour. In May of that year, four men armed with knives and a pole smashed the glass door of a Wauchope pub before stealing cash and in October 2016, another club was held up in Mylestom.

Robberies also saw cash stolen in a hold up at Toormina in April 2017 and another robbery in Macksville in December of 2016, when the thieves also stole the handbag of a female staff member of the club.
