Police looking for white vehicle after motorcyclist suffers broken leg in crash

Police are appealing for information about a white car that did not remain at the scene of a crash in which a motorcyclist was injured.

The motorcyclist suffered a broken leg when a Range Rover collided with him in Cunningham Drive, Thornaby, at 6.20pm on of Tuesday April 30.

The 30-year-old rider of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery after the crash.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "The 38-year-old woman driving the Range Rover was arrested in connection with the incident, and has since been bailed while officers carry out an investigation.

"It is thought that a white vehicle may have also been involved in the incident, but did not remain at the scene.
