Police Rescue Tourists From Chile Region Hit by Floods and Landslides

Water rushing from the Andres caused a series of landslides in Chile’s Santiago Metropolitan Region over the weekend of February 26, stranding tourists in mountainous areas and flooding local highways.

This footage is described as showing tourist evacuations near Maipo River and Maipo Canyon, both in the San Jose de Maipo commune. Aerial footage shows landslides blocking part of Route G-25, which cuts through the area.
