Missing 17-year-old boy last seen in Blyth is found, police confirm
A teenager who went missing after he was last seen in Northumberland has been found.
Officers were appealing for the public’s help to locate missing Carl Mardghum, who was last seen in the North East. The 17-year-old from Lancashire was last seen in the Queens Gardens area of Blyth at around 8.30pm on Monday.
On Wednesday afternoon, Northumbria Police confirmed that Carl had fortunately been located.

Earlier this week The Chronicle reported how a new task force set up by Northumbria Police has located over 1,400 missing vulnerable people this year alone. Northumbria Police’s Missing Persons Team was set up four months ago – with the team working closely with response officers to help trace and safeguard 1,435 people.
