Police search for man who people think is double of Premier League star

When police posted a picture of a wanted man online, they probably didn't expect to get a reaction like this one.

As they needed some help finding Kaine Blisset, Kent cops launched an appeal on social media. But unfortunately, the image caught people's attention for all the wrong reasons.

Cheeky commenters are convinced that Kaine looks exactly like Jack Grealish. Both men share distinctive curtain-like locks and facial hair.

But unlike Grealish, a 28-year-old Manchester City footballer from Birmingham, Blissett is on Kent Police's Most Wanted list. He is currently "wanted on recall to prison".

According to police reports, he has links to Margate and Ramsgate. Members of the public are argued to immediately contact police if they see him – and definitely do not approach looking for an autograph from Grealish!

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: "Kaine Blissett is wanted on recall to prison. He has links to Margate and Ramsgate. If you see him, call 999, quoting 46/99257/24. You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or complete the online form on their website."

Despite the severity of the situation, footie fans haven't been able to resist making some jokes. One laughed: "Grealish let himself go."

Another wrote: "I thought it was Jack." A third asked: "That's Jack Grealish, isn't it?" Meanwhile, another jibed: "Jack Grealish when you haven't been to Specsavers."

As Jack recently missed out on making Gareth Southgate's team selection for the 2024 Euros, it prompted one social media user to quip: "That's what happens when you don't get picked." Savage!
