Police Seek Suspect With Expensive Taste in Whiskey

Police in Victoria are seeking a man accused of stealing a AU$62,000 bottle of whiskey from a store in Melbourne on May 22.

CCTV footage from inside the store shows the male suspect talking to a shop attendant before leaving.

Victoria Police said: “The staff member turned away for a brief moment and it is alleged the man removed a bottle of Johnnie Walker Masters of Flavour from the shelf and hid it down the front of his shorts.”

The bottle has a store value of AU$62,000 ($41,000).
