LONDON (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Theresa May's Conservatives have a commanding lead over the opposition Labour Party, an ICM opinion poll for the Guardian newspaper said on Monday. The survey put the Conservatives on 48 percent with Labour on 27 percent, both up two percentage points from a poll last Tuesday which came hours after May announced she would hold an election on June 8. The centrist Liberal Democrat Party was on 10 percent with the anti-European Union UK Independence Party on 7 percent, both down a percentage point. ICM interviewed 2,024 adults between April 21 and 24. Polls have suggested that May is on course for a sweeping victory which could extend her majority in parliament to more than 100 seats.
