Popular TV duo set for Blackburn arrival this October
A much-loved TV couple are bringing their latest tour to Blackburn in October.
Dick and Angel Strawbridge's "Forever Home" kicks off on October 6 with the pair arriving at King George's Hall on October 11.
Dick and Angel are best known for their popular international TV shows Escape to the Chateau and Secret France.
The 33-date tour begins in Southend-on-Sea, Angel's hometown, and concludes in Brighton on November 17.
The touring duo said: "Touring with our family has been such a joy, and we can’t wait to return to the UK to share our adventures, challenges, and the successes of building and living our Chateau dream.
"Only so much of our story can be told on the telly, and as life at the Chateau continues to evolve, we will share what it takes to build a forever home.
"This year, there’s even more fun to have as we kick-start our newest project searching for the UK’s ultimate Jack of All Trades.
"We can’t wait!"
Audience members from each theatre across the tour will have an opportunity to become part of the show by participating in a competition.
From icing cakes to tackling plumbing and electrics tasks, contestants will be awarded the title of their town’s Escape to the Chateau – 'Jack of All Trades'.
Winners also get to play a role in the launch of Dick and Angel’s forthcoming project, aptly titled "Escape to the Chateau – Jack of All Trades".
