Potes is the capital of Liebana, located in the southwest region of Cantabria (Spain), between several mountain ranges. Potes has a religious , civil and popular architectural heritage , in addition to their particular traditions , which include the Jubilee of the monastery of Santo Toribio. Monday is the most important day for villagers because there is a popular market where people come from all places in the region to offer their products. The trip from the coast to Potes leaves a good memory , crossing some of the most beautiful places in Cantabria.
