Power tools and fishing gear among items reported stolen to police

There have been many thefts reported to Gloucestershire police this past week

Power tools, boilers and fishing equipment are just some of the items which have been reported stolen to Gloucestershire Police in the last few days. Thieves, in one instance, decided they were going to get access to new build properties to steal four air source heat pumps, by removing the windows, which they also decided to steal as well.

There have been many thefts reported to Gloucestershire police this past week. Many of the incidents have been posted to Your Community Alerts Gloucestershire with details of the area it happened and the crime reference number.

The Your Community Alerts Gloucestershire website not only gives details on incidents which have been reported in the area where you live, it provides helpful advice on crime prevention. Police also use this platform to ask for members of the public to come forward with any information about any of the reported crimes.

Brimscombe, Stroud: Between 10.30pm on June 23,2024 and 7am on June 24, 2024 a unlocked shed was entered in, Brimscombe, Stroud. Removed from the shed was STIHL strimmer x two, hedge cutters x two, chain saws x two, STIHL multi tool and various fishing equipment. Valued at approx. £15,000. Incident 0138 of June 24, 2024 refers.

Stratton, Cirencester: Between 5pm on June 22, 2024 and 2pm on June 23, 2024 within Stratton, Cirencester. An unknown person has entered a vehicle via an open window and removed from the vehicles was dental equipment, leaf trimmer and brown leather gloves. Approx. value to stolen items is £1000. Incident 0477 of June 24, 2024 refers.

Home Orchard, Ebley, Stroud: Between 10pm on June 22, 2024 and 10am June 23,2024, a garage has been entered in Home Orchard, Ebley, Stroud. Two bikes that were chained together have been stolen.

The Rally 11 white/silver/grey has recently been bike marked and placed on the national bike register. The other bike is an off road, light steel framed bike with a red child seat attached. Incident 0220 of June 24, 2024 refers.

Belle Vue Road, Stroud: Between 8pm on June 23, 2024 and 8.am on June 24, 2024 within Belle Vue Road, Stroud. An unknown person has entered a van, making an untidy mess, leaving the doors open causing the battery to drain.

There was little in the van to take and nothing is missing. Incident 0114 of June 24, 2024 refers.

Langtoft Road, Stroud: Between 6.:30pm on June 23, 2024 and 9:15am on June 24, 2024 within Langtoft Road, Stroud. An unknown person has entered a locked vehicle while parked on a driveway.

There are no signs of damage to the vehicle, loose change £15.00 and a dash cam had been stolen from the vehicle. Incident 0381 of June 24,2024 refers. Please don't hesitate to call the police if you witness suspicious activity and always dial 999 if you believe a crime is taking place.

Bath Road, Cheltenham: A vehicle that was not locked due to being unloaded has been entered by an unknown offender. The offender has then stolen a large amount of cash, a pair of sunglasses, a handbag and the car key. This happened between 6am and 7:45am on June 25, 2024. Incident 096 of June 25, 2024.

Lypiatt Terrace, Cheltenham: A grey Volkswagen Golf has been stolen from outside a property. The vehicle contained a black Wenger ruck sack with the car key in it and two walking poles. This happened in Lypiatt Terrace, Cheltenham. Between 11am on June 21, 2024 and 3.15pm on June 24, 2024. Incident 299 of June 24, 2024.

Landsdown Road, Cheltenham: Offenders have gained access to a van by unknown means. A quantity of Makita tools have been stolen including a Makita impact driver, screw drivers and other tools all in a blue Makita tool bag.

This happened in Landsdown Road, Cheltenham. Between 10am on June 22, 2024 and 7am on June 24, 2024. Incident 139 of June 24, 2024.

Stoke Orchard Road, Bishops Cleeve: Four new build properties have been entered by unknown offenders and four air source heat pumps and their control units have been stolen. The windows on the properties have been stolen to gain access.

This happened in Stoke Orchard Road, Bishops Cleeve between 5pm on June 24, 2024 and 7.30am on June 25, 2024. Incident 091 of June 25, 2024.

Hill Hay Road in Matson, Gloucester: Number plates were stolen from a Vauxhall car that was parked In Hill Hay Road in Matson, Gloucester. – They were taken between 8pm on June 22 and 1pm on June 23. Anyone with any information please quote incident 218 of June 23, 2024.

Elmore East Lane in Quedgeley: A guitar and amplifier were stolen from a Renault Car that was parked In Elmore East Lane in Quedgeley. They were taken between June 15 and June 22.

Farthing Croft Highnam: The number plates were stolen from a Ford Kia that was parked In Farthing Croft Highnam. They were taken between 10pm on June 20 and 9am on June 21. Anyone with any information please quote Incident 104 of June 21, 2024.

Speech House Road near Speech House: A broken down black Honda 125cc motorcycle was stolen from a layby in Speech House Road near Speech House. It was taken between 1pm and 4pm on June 23. Anyone with any information please quote incident 317 of June 23,2024.

Harbour Road Lydney: A silver Mazda 3 motor car was stolen from Harbour Road Lydney. It was taken between 10pm on June 23 and 6.50am on June 24. Anyone with any information please quote incident 79 of June 24, 2024.

Brook Lane, Brookthorpe: Incident number 0097 of 23 or 24 of June, 2024. Golf clubs, accessorise and electric trolley have been stolen from a garage.

Bowbridge, Stroud: Incident number 0111 of June 22, 2024. An unlocked vehicle has been entered overnight and lose change has been stolen.

Swifts Hill View, Stroud: Incident number 0107 of June 22, 2024. A car parked on the driveway has been entered via unknown means and an untidy search has been conducted. Approximately £6 has been stolen in change.

London Road, Stroud: Incident number 0389 of June 21, 2024. A car parked on level 2a of the multi-storey car park has been entered by unknown means and £30 has been stolen from the glove box.

Suffolk Parade, Cheltenham: A male described as tall and thin built wearing all black clothing and black trainers has been seen trying door handles. No vehicles have been entered. This happened in Suffolk Parade, Cheltenham at 2:13am on June 22, 2024. Incident 262 of June 22, 2024.

Imjin Road, Cheltenham: A vehicle has been entered by unknown means and fishing equipment stolen. Items stolen include a bed/chair, sleeping bag, wellies, bait, a fishing umbrella and a Gerber multi tool. This happened in Imjin Road, Cheltenham. Overnight of June 21 to June 22, 2024. Incident 118 of June 22, 2024.

Stoke Road, Stoke Orchard: Unknown offenders have entered a site through a fence and removed four boilers. The beading has been removed from the doors to gain access.
