Powerlines Spark as Hurricane Delta Bears Down on Mexican Island
Hurricane Delta brought a life-threatening storm surge and gusty winds to parts of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula on Wednesday, October 7, the National Hurricane Center said.
Delta made landfall near Puerto Morelos at around 5:30 am as a Category 2 hurricane, the NHC said.
