The Premier League set for move to new Paddington HQ

The Premier League is set to move its London headquarters to Paddington next year, the Evening Standard can reveal.

Sources said the body, which represents top flight football clubs, has agreed a deal with FTSE 250 landlord Derwent London to take 30,000 square feet at the Brunel Building.

The Premier League, advised by property agent JLL, plans to move from its Gloucester Place home near Baker Street station where it has been since 2005.

It has outgrown the site and Derwent, which also owns that property, is looking to redevelop it.

The Premier League, which is wholly owned by the 20 member clubs that make up the League at any one time, is expected to relocate in 2019.

Other companies that have prelet space at the Brunel Building include Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE are the letting agents on the 243,000 square feet development.

All parties declined to comment.
