Premier Makes Passionate Speech in Favour of Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews recounted stories of people who had taken their own lives when faced with terminal illness on Tuesday, October 17, as MPs debated a bill to legalise voluntary euthanasia.

Andrews urged fellow MPs to support the bill, but was opposed by Deputy Premier James Merlino, The Guardian reported.
