What's new on Amazon's Prime Video this April?
It may be the time for April showers, but poor weather just means more time chilling out on the sofa to enjoy a new show or film — and Prime Video has plenty to choose from.
The month will mark the release of an exciting new post-apocalyptic series based on the hit game series Fallout, while those looking for a new rom-com hit will be delighted by Bridgerton star Charithra Chandran's new movie. Elsewhere, the latest chapter of Sylvester Stallone's action franchises will have its streaming debut in April.

How To Date Billy Walsh | 5 April
Amelia (Chandran) and Archie (Sebastian Croft) are best friends, and have been since childhood. While Archie envisions something more with Amelia, her eyes are set on Billy Walsh (Tanner Buchanan). Heartbroken, Archie decides to concoct ways in which to keep Amelia and Billy from each other.
Fallout | 11 April
Jonathan Nolan, one half of the team that brought us Westworld, has developed his newest series Fallout, which adapts the game of the same name. The series is set 200 years after an apocalypse decimated Earth and left it a radioactive wasteland, but those who spent life in fallout shelters are now forced to venture back out there and are shocked to learn of the people that have thrived there.
Streaming in April
The series follows Ella Purnell's Lucy, an optimistic Vault-dweller who is exploring life outside for the first time, she is joined on her adventures by Maximus (Aaron Moten) and the Ghoul (Walton Goggins), with the trio colliding in unexpected ways in this dangerous, post-nuclear world.
Expend4bles | 19 April
Stallone returns to the Expendables franchise for the fourth time, and he is joined by an all-star cast including Jason Statham, Megan Fox, 50 Cent, Dolp Lundgren, Tony Jaa, and Iko Uwais. The film follows the group after they are called in for a new mission when they become the last line of defence after a mysterious terrorist named Ocelot threatens to destroy humanity.
Land of Bad | 26 April
Liam Hemsworth and his brother Luke team up in this action triller, which also stars Russell Crow, Ricky Whittle and Milo Ventimiglia. The film follows a US Army special forces unit who are ambushed during a mission and whose only hope is a remote Air Force drone operator who is on hand to assist them during a 48 hour battle.
