Princess Beatrice offers to be Chrissy Teigen's Goddaughter - and she can't deal

Chrissy Teigen was left gobsmacked after Princess Beatrice offered to be her Goddaughter.

The model casually joked that she would love to be a Godmother to a girl named Bea because she loves the name and was shell-shocked at the response.

Teigen tweeted: “Bea is such an adorable name. Someone name their kid Bea please. I am not ready for another daughter and John says no more dogs. I will be their Godparent.”

To her shock, the tweet caught the attention of Princess Beatrice of York, who sweetly responded: “I would adore to be your Goddaughter.”

To which an overwhelmed Teigen responded: “Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God.”

Along with the Lip Sync Battle host, fans were sent into meltdown over the exchange.

One user wrote: “The mayor of Twitter and HRH Princess Bea, this is my all time favourite interaction on Twitter.”

Another commented: “I say make it happen!”

A third added: “I’m obsessed with this.”

Another user couldn’t help but mock Teigen’s husband John Legend, asking what he “has to say” about the response.

Teigen has become known for her showcasing her most candid self on Twitter.

Last month the star earned approval from fans after she invited fans to Heathrow Airport for a “meet and greet”, while she waited out a 16 hour stop-over for a connecting flight back to the US.

She told followers to come and meet her and Legend over the “next 16 hours.”

Heathrow Airport also thanked Teigen for “gracing us with your presence.”
