How Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie connect young Hollywood

At Princess Eugenie's wedding in October of 2018, the 800-strong guest list was packed out with a surprising number of A-listers - including model Kate Moss and her daughter Lila, who could be glimpsed behind the couple as they said their vows.

The starry guest list ranged from the expected (pop star Ellie Goulding), to the unexpected (Ricky Martin, of "Livin La Vida Loca fame").

Celebrity BFF Derek Blasberg, Liv Tyler and Cara Delevingne were also in attendance, with the latter's decision to wear a tux winning a round of applause on Twitter.

These days, Hollywood has more ties to the royal family than ever, and it’s not just because Meghan Markle was formerly a Suits star... although that does effectively connect her to the entirety of the Pretty Little Liars cast, courtesy of her castmate Patrick J. Adams and his marriage to its star Troian Bellisario.

Markle is doubly connected to PLL through friend of the royals Cara Delevingne, who's currently dating Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson.

Ultimately, Markle isn't the one with all the California ties. Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, the sisters who split their time between London and New York, now count Ed Sheeran and the Jonas Brothers in their friendship circles.

In a twist, Princess Beatrice is particularly close to That '70s Show stars Ashton Kutcher and his wife, Mila Kunis. They've double dated and spent time together in New York. They even attended a wedding together.

So Taylor Swift, Tom Hiddleston and two-thirds of the Jonas Brothers are all essentially courtiers now. How very modern.
