Protests Escalate in Aftermath of First Round of Presidential Election Results


The first round of the French presidential elections concluded on April 23, with Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen set to face off in round two on May 7. Large crowds of protesters took to the streets in Nantes expressing discontent with results.
