Protests Greet Israeli Prime Minister's Arrival in London

Protesters chanted “democracy” and “shame” outside Downing Street in London on Friday, March 24, as UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak welcomed his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, amid growing anger at the latter’s judicial reform plan.

Netanyahu arrived in the UK at 6:30 am on Friday, after the visit had been postponed from Thursday due to fears protesters would attempt to disrupt his travel, local media reported.

The Israeli PM was expected to meet Sunak and Home Secretary Suella Braverman on Friday.
