PSNI investigating serious attack after young person hit with knuckleduster

A young person was injured after being hit with a knuckleduster during an incident over the weekend, police have said.

The PSNI says it is appealing for information regarding the report of a serious assault in Co Armagh where a young male was hit in the head with the weapon.

In a brief statement, a spokesperson for Police Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon added: "This is reported to have occurred on Sunday the 23rd of June 2024 at approximately 02:30am on William Street in Milford.

"If you were in the area, witnessed this incident, or have CCTV/dash camera footage, Police would ask you to ring 101 and quote serial 808 of 23/06/24 to provide any information you may have."
