Tom Kerridge’s food festival Pub In The Park is set to return to London next summer – and it’ll be making two stops in the capital for the first time in its history.
After making its inaugural visit to London last summer, the touring celebration of pub food and culture will return to Chiswick Park on September 4-6 next year, but will also spend a weekend at Dulwich Park earlier in summer, running at the south London location from July 3-5.
The dates are part of Pub In The Park’s eight-weekend tour of English parks, with further locations including Bath, Warwick, Tunbridge Wells, St Albans and Marlow, the Berkshire town where founder Kerridge runs his two Michelin-starred pub The Hand and Flowers.
While the line-up is yet to be confirmed, the 2020 festivals are expected to once again bring together dishes from some of the country’s most well-respected food pubs and restaurants, talks and demonstrations from top chefs and live music from big name artists. Last year’s Chiswick festival hosted the likes of Claude Bosi, Rick Stein, Atul Kochhar and Heston Blumenthal’s pub the Hind’s Head, as well as performances from Clean Bandit, Texas, Scouting For Girls and Toploader.
The festival has also added a date in Chichester to its 2020 calendar, with the events both there and in Dulwich still technically subject to licence.
“Pub in the Park was an absolute blast,” said Kerridge of last year’s festivities. “I’ve had a sneak peek at the line-up for 2020, and it looks good; tasty food, more amazing chefs and awesome musicians all in your local park.”
