Quarantined Brits recreate a beach in their GARDEN

A household of quarantined Brits have brought the tropical feel home - by recreating a beach own in their GARDEN. The idea was conceived by Amy Woollon, 22, alongside her friends and family while self isolating together. The household collectively craved a the summer solstice - but were restricted due to current quarantine regulations. So, they decided to bring their holiday home instead. Amy, a Bartender from Bristol, came up with the idea after her father, Andrew Woollon, 53, found some sand in his garage. She said: "It was a beautiful day. He had talked about how nice it would've been to be at a beach now instead of self isolating" "We thought since we can't go to the beach...why not bring the beach to us?" The backyard beach, called 'Woolon Combe', features half a tonne of sand, three deckchairs, a paddling pool and even personalised decorations for authenticity.
