Queen's Park shooting: Man fighting for his life after being shot in broad daylight in west London street

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after he was shot in broad daylight in a west London street.

Police rushed to Bravington Road in Queen's Park following reports of a shooting at 2.44pm on Wednesday.

Armed officers and the London Ambulance Service remain at the scene.

The victim, who has not been named, was taken to hospital where he is in a life-threatening condition, police said.

There have no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.

A section 60 stop-and-search order is in place until 4am on Thursday.
