'Queer Eye' stars mourn co-star Bruley after French Bulldog dies from heart attack

Bruley, the French bulldog who starred on the Queen Eye revival, has died at the age of 10 from a heart attack.

His owner was Queen Eye producer Michelle Silva, who shared the news of Bruley's passing with his followers on his Instagram page.

She told his fans: "Bru had been suffering from heart problems, and an instant heart attack was a possibility. He just had too much love and heart for his physical body.

“It all happened so fast, but I held him as he took his last breath, and I was able to tell him I loved him the very most. I told him everyday I loved him more than anything in the world, and I reminded him of that over and over as he slipped out of this life.”

The pup could regularly be seen in the segments of the Netflix show filmed in the Fab Five's Kansas loft.

The Queer Eye cast have paid tribute to their canine co-star in posts to their social pages.

Bobby Berk shared: "RIP my furry little friend. You brought joy to so many with your jump kisses, grunts and even your farts. You were the best little sidekick we could have had. You will be very missed by all including your mama @tinsely_ who my heart goes out to right now. I love YOU #bruleybru #queereye."

While Antoni Poworski posted: "Rest in puppy peace because all dogs go to heaven, little one."

"Our baby Bru," wrote Jonathan Van Ness alongside a crying emoji.

Meanwhile, Van Ness recently revealed he is living with HIV.

The TV personality, who is known for his bold fashion choices, opened up about his condition ahead of the release of his book Over The Top in which he discusses his diagnosis.
