Founded in 1979 as part of the Lucasfilm computer division, animation studio Pixar officially became part of the Disney empire in 2006, and has – to date – released 22 feature-length films since 1995. Its films are beloved by children and adults alike, and are routinely praised for their profoundly moving stories, groundbreaking visuals, and stunning attention to detail.

Thanks to its incredible hit rate, the critically acclaimed studio has earned 21 Academy Awards, 9 Golden Globe Awards, and 11 Grammy Awards and countless other awards, including many Baftas, in its lifetime.

In 2009, Pixar executives John Lasseter, Brad Bird, Pete Docter, Andrew Stanton, and Lee Unkrich were presented with the Golden Lion award for lifetime achievement by the Venice Film Festival. They in turn presented the physical award to Lucasfilm's founder, George Lucas.

The studio’s characters are instantly recognisable and have all gone on to be icons in the animation field, drawing huge crowds at Disney’s theme parks when they appear in person, and shifting incredible amounts of merchandise for the entertainment giant.

But how well do you know your Pixar films? And how quickly can you name all 22 of their feature-length films?
