R Kelly accused of grooming 14-year-old as 'sex pet' by former girlfriend

Singer R. Kelly has been accused of further grooming and child sexual assaults on a new BBC Three documentary.

During a shocking new documentary titled R Kelly: Sex, Girls and Videotapes, his former girlfriend Kitti Jones speaks about the disturbing going-ons while dating the globally famous R&B artist.

Jones, now 34, says she was groomed from a very young age and confesses that Kelly, 51, forced her to engage in sexual activity with him and other people in what she describes as a ‘sex dungeon’.

‘I was introduced to one of the girls, that he told me he “trained” since she was 14, those were his words. I saw that she was dressed like me, that she was saying the things I’d say and her mannerisms were like mine. That’s when it clicked in my head that he had been grooming me to become one of his pets. He calls them his pets.’

Jones reveals that the mystery woman would ‘crawl on the floor towards me and perform oral sex on me, and he said, “This is my f*****g pet, I trained her. She’s going to teach you how to be with me”.’ It’s not clear about the age of the girl at the time.

R. Kelly has not issued any comment to the BBC doc makers regarding the incident, but it follows a string of accusations over a number of years about the star.

Jones also said how Kelly was a manipulator and physical abuser, describing him as ‘very abusive, physically, mentally, verbally.’

‘I think he gets some sort of satisfaction within himself, knowing that he’s taking control over other people,’ she revealed.

In 2008, Kelly was deemed innocent of child pornography, where he was said to have videoed himself during a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl. He’s also been linked with a number of out-of-court settlements to three women that accused him of sexual contact when they were 15.

The musician has frequently been linked to sexual relationships with under-aged girls; notably his secret marriage to the late singer Aaliyah who was just 15 at the time. While Kelly has always denied it, his former manager Rocky Bivens states that the singer did marry her in a secret ceremony.

A 2017 expose by BuzzFeed uncovered Kelly’s penchant to brainwash young girls and women in a cult-like set-up that saw him dictate when they had sex with him and what they ate and wore. Three women, along with Jones, spoke out about Kelly’s behaviour and treatment of women.
