Range Rover stopped in Salford over tinted plates before man is arrested for 'drug driving'

A Range Rover was brought to a stop on a main road in Salford on Wednesday (May 8) before a man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

Officers stopped the driver along the M602 in Salford after the car was found to have no insurance and tinted plates. When questioned, the driver then 'tried to claim he was insured' by showing a screenshot of a policy that expired in January.

After a roadside test, the driver then provided a positive drug sample and was taken into custody. The black Range Rover was also seized.
