Fancy sharing a residents’ garden with Tony Blair and Claudia Winkleman? A deep-pocketed buyer might be able to as a period conversion flat has been listed for sale in Connaught Square.

With a price tag of £2.35 million, the second-floor apartment near Marble Arch has three bedrooms, a resident caretaker and comes with access to an idyllic, shared garden.

The square has long attracted high-profile buyers including Winkleman, who once told the Evening Standard that she loved the location for being able to, “leave my house at 4am and buy a kebab, rent a movie and get some shampoo.”

Perhaps the former Labour Prime Minister and his family were also tempted by a night-time kebab run when they bought a house on the square for a reported £3.65 million back in 2004 when Blair was still in office.

“Homes on Connaught Square do not come up for sale very often,” said Martin Bikhit of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London who are marketing the property.

“This charming Grade II-listed property benefits from being a lateral apartment in a portered block, which makes it even more of a rarity, as the square consists of mainly townhouses.

“This apartment features an abundance of natural light throughout and access to the much-loved residents’ garden – a leafy oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city,” he added.
