Rebecca Adlington And Mark Foster Fuel Romance Rumours

Rebecca Adlington and Mark Foster set tongues wagging with their outrageously flirty chemistry during the BBC’s Olympic coverage a few weeks ago – and a touchy-feely appearance at last night’s GQ Men of the Year Awards has added further fuel to the fire.

The swimming stars arrived together to attend the glitzy ceremony at London’s Tate Modern, and partied late into the night before heading off in a black cab together.

The aquatic pair’s on-screen antics rivaled Helen Skelton’s shorts as the major talking point of the Rio Olympics - away from all that boring old sporting stuff, obviously. A stray hand on Mark’s thigh in response to the former World Champion’s gentle ribbing that Rebecca “only won a bronze” at the London Olympics was among the many highlights.

Mark, 46, shrugged off talk of romance at the time, claiming Rebecca only grabs his leg to get his attention. But a joke to camera that she was in tears after swimmer Adam Peaty’s 100m breaststroke gold medal victory “because he’d just proposed to her” certainly didn’t pour any heavily-chlorinated water over the romance rumours.

Rebecca even followed up the pair’s big night out by sharing a sweet Instagram snap of the two of them in their party gear - complete with a little pink loveheart emoji underneath. Oooh!

The Olympic medallist, 27, announced her split from husband Harry Needs earlier this year after 18 months of marriage. The pair have a one-year-old daughter called Summer together.
