“Probably, their energy engineers, who have the blueprints for our power grids, told the military where to strike to stop our nuclear power plants,” he said.

The main strikes were targeted at substations, Vlasenko noted.

Russia’s Nov. 15 missile attack on Ukraine was the largest since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. About 100 missiles were fired over territory of Ukraine, mainly targeting critical infrastructure facilities in many of the country’s oblasts.

One strike cut the Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant from the larger power grid for more than nine hours.
