Red Arrows to fly over Suffolk this week

The iconic Red Arrows will be over Suffolk this week.

The King's Birthday Flypast will see a large formation of aircraft take to the skies as they all make their way to London on Saturday, June 15.

According to Military Airshows, the display for King Charles' birthday on Saturday looks like it will start over Suffolk again this year.

The formation will start in the North Sea near Lowestoft and Southwold.

It will then fly over the parts of the A12, before heading over Ipswich.

The display will then head further south, eventually flying over Buckingham Palace at about 1.45pm.

Both the Red Arrows and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight are scheduled to take part in the event.

Earlier this month the rehearsal of the flypast was spotted over the county.

Modern stealth fighters including eight RAF Typhoons travelled over the region on Monday during a rehearsal for the event.

The planes flew over Southwold, Beccles, Halesworth and Harleston.
