Red Arrows times and route for Gloucestershire flyover on Wednesday and Thursday

The RAF Red Arrows are due to fly over Gloucestershire today (Wednesday, June 12) with the Cotswolds very much on the flight path. Cotswolds Airport in Kemble has flagged the display team as flying through shortly after 4pm..

The jets are scheduled to leave RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire at 4pm and be over the Cotswolds from around 4.15pm to 4.21pm. Their destination is the Channel Islands.

They will enter Gloucestershire from above Chipping Norton, flying over Bourton-on-the-Water and then North Cerney, crossing the A417 near Cirencester Golf Club, then Cirencester and South Cerney at around 4.21pm

It's then south to Chippenham in Wiltshire then down to Bournemouth at around 4.30pm It's then over to above Swanage, and across to the Channel Islands.

On Facebook, Cotswolds Airport said: "We have been informed that the Red Arrows will be passing through just after 4pm! AV8 Restaurant will be open so swing by and grab a coffee and cake or ice cream!"

The return journey is due to be made on Thursday with the jets flying over Gloucestershire from around 4pm again. The Met Office is, however, forecasting overcast conditions from 4pm to 5pm over Cirencester on Wednesday and rain on Thursday during those times - although forecasts can change.
