Refugee Supporters Interrupt Bill Shorten's Speech at Labor Party National Conference

Refugee supporters stormed the stage and interrupted opposition leader Bill Shorten’s keynote speech at the Labor Party’s National Conference in Adelaide, South Australia, on Sunday, December 16.

Similar protests, including ones against the construction of the Adani coal mine, were staged at the event where 400 delegates were present, local media reported.
