All the remaining UK bank holidays for 2024 revealed

A new public holiday has been announced for the island of Jersey next month to commemorate the visit of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. This will mark the first visit by a reigning monarch to the island since the late Queen's visit in 2005, and the holiday is projected to cost Jersey taxpayers approximately £700,000 in wages to cover civil servants taking the day off, as reported by the BBC.

Given that Jersey operates as a self-governing island, distinct from the UK in many ways, residents on the British mainland will not be granted the same holiday on July 15. However, there are still several bank holidays to look forward to in 2024, reports the Liverpool Echo.

But what are these bank holidays? Well, here is the full list of remaining bank holidays in 2024 in England and Wales. There's also the first few for 2025 too - just to make sure you're fully aware.
