Remembering legendary basketball coach Pat Summitt

The winningest coach in US Division I collegiate basketball history, Pat Summitt, died on Tuesday after battling early onset dementia. Born in Clarksville, Tennessee, in 1952, Summitt was a standout basketball player who played for the silver medal-winning US Olympic team in 1976. She went on to become the most successful women’s college basketball coach in 2005 and was named NCAA coach of the year seven times
