Retro inspiration and new sponsor - Every Manchester United 2024/25 kit 'leaked' so far

Manchester United's 2023/24 season is beginning to draw to a close and it is fair to say it is unlikely to be one that many look back on fondly.

Whether it be the injuries which have plagued the Reds all season to the disappointing performances in the Champions League and Premier League, many United fans will be ready to see the back of this season. However, there is room for some optimism.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has now joined the club as a co-owner in charge of football operations and plans are being put in place to improve Old Trafford. Should positive steps be taken in the summer transfer window, this could help sway fans' decision to buy the new replica kits or not.

With that in mind, MEN Sport has taken a closer look at what is expected from the 2024/25 shirts.

Home kit

As has become commonplace, Footy Headlines has managed to leak a selection of illustrations of what the United kits could look like this season. First up we take a look at the home kit.

The first thing to note is that the sponsorship deal with TeamViewer will end at the culmination of the campaign with Snapdragon becoming the new front-of-shirt sponsor. As for the kit itself, it is what you have come to expect from a United home shirt in the sense that it is predominantly red.

In a break from this season, the black trim could also be replaced by a two-tone red and white look. This would be the first time since the 2021/22 campaign that black does not feature prominently in the design.

It must be stressed that this is merely a prediction of what the kit may look like based on leaked details of the direction Adidas are going in.

Away kit

Keeping with the homage to 2021/22, United could be returning to a blue away strip, if the leaks are to be believed. The prediction below is likely to go down well with supporters.

The zig-zag 'M' design accompanied with the red trim is a nice change from what we saw last season with the green. Playing in blue may split opinion with some but this shade works well as a second kit.

Third kit

Perhaps the best until last of the designs leaked so far. It is unclear at this stage what the secondary colour will be but the overall design appears to be set in stone.

Last season, supporters were delighted to see Adidas introduce the devil emblem as the badge for the third shirt and the leaks suggest that will return for this season. It also appears that the German manufacturer is going down the retro route with their 'Originals' logo which will undoubtedly be popular with fans.
