Richard Keys makes FA Cup prediction ahead of Coventry City v Manchester United clash
High profile Coventry City fan Richard Keys is predicting the worst but hoping for the best when his boyhood club come up against Manchester United this weekend.
The BeIN sports presenter believes the Red Devils will “spank” the Sky Blues when Mark Robins’ men go head-to-head with Erik ten Hag’s Premier League outfit in the semi-final of the FA Cup at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
Writing in his weekly blog, the lifelong Coventry supporter said: “The next time United play I’ll be there to watch them. They really should spank my Super Sky Blues in the FA Cup semi-finals. I don’t expect any other outcome.”

Coventry are making their fourth trip to the national stadium in the last seven years under former Old Trafford striker Robins who has led the club to Checkatrade Trophy success, promotion via the League Two play-off final and a Championship play-off final when they narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League in a penalty shootout with Luton Town.
“It’ll be great to see my boys back at Wembley,” said Keys. “I couldn’t make last season’s play-off final because of work commitments, so I’m really grateful to my bosses for getting me the weekend off this time.
“United are better than us. They’re expected to win. They should win. Many of their fans are making plans for the final - and have been since the draw was made. All logic says they’re right - but when was football ever logical?”
