Richard Madeley seems to confirm 'I’m A Celebrity' rumour: ‘The secret is out’
Richard Madeley has seemingly confirmed that he will appear on this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here after teasing fans for weeks.
The Good Morning Britain presenter pretty much let the cat out of the bag on the morning show while chatting with co-hosts Kate Garraway and Susanna Reid.
Pulling out a piece of notepaper from his breast pocket, Madeley said he had called ITV head office 10 minutes prior because he needed to know how to address questions about his stint on the reality show.

“This is what they said: ‘First of all if asked if you are going to the castle, talk about the weather’. And it’s remarkably mild weather we are having this time of year."
Garraway then wondered whether that would indicate that he is concerned about the weather in the castle next month but according to Madeley, ITV told him that “‘If there are supplementary questions like that, you should simply say, 'You may say that but I couldn't possibly comment,' or 'I can neither confirm nor deny'.’”
Recalling her experience on the show, Garraway — who took part in the last edition of I'm A Celebrity... in the Australian jungle in 2019 — said: "I think I did that all the way through and even when I got back. I got so used to saying, ‘I can neither confirm nor deny.'"
"When a secret is out, it’s out, but anyway, I can’t comment," continued Madeley.

Reid then chimed in suggesting then that if a celebrity uses one of those phrases to address their own participation in the show, it is confirmation that they are actually going.
Seemingly moving on, Madeley also revealed how, "It is true that I have been learning a bit of Welsh," justifying it due to a family connection.
"They are not going to drop you now, are they?" suggested Garraway, because of how unconcerned Madeley seemed with giving away the secret.
But he stuck to the script and only said: "I can neither confirm nor deny."
Among other celebrities rumoured for a stint in the I’m A Celebrity... castle this year are former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips, EastEnders’ Jake Wood, The Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain, Diversity dancer Perri Kiely, BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin, Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall and Married at First Sight’s Bob Voysey.
However, ITV has not yet confirmed any name for the 2021 roster and the upcoming series also does not have a set release date yet.
But since traditionally it airs from mid-November, fans won't have to wait long to know who will be on the official roster.
