RideLondon 2024 road closures, route and start times as cycle race returns

Thousands of cyclists are set to descend on the city this weekend for RideLondon2024. The event begins in Essex on Friday (May 24), but it won't affect London or lead to any closures until Sunday (May 26).

More than 20,000 cyclists will be involved in Ford RideLondon-Essex will be held in boroughs across Central and East London. The boroughs impacted are Westminster, Camden, Lambeth, Southwark, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest and the City of London.

As a result, some roads will be shut on Sunday morning with other closures lasting the entire day.
