A37 closed due to three-vehicle crash

Delays were reported this morning due to a crash on the A37.

The A37 was partially blocked in both directions, with queueing traffic due to a three-vehicle crash at Gascoyne Lane - north of Dorchester near Wrackleford.

The crash is now reported to be cleared, and traffic is easing.

Police say there are no reports of any injuries.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 8.07am of a three-vehicle collision on the A37 north of Dorchester near Wrackleford.

"Emergency services are at the scene, there are no reports of any injuries."

A spokesperson for Dorchester Fire Station said: "Crews from Dorchester are currently in the Wrackleford area dealing with a road traffic collision. Please be advised that the road from Stratton to Dorchester is currently closed."

A spokesperson for the Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to the A37 at Wrackleford at 8.21am this morning following a three-vehicle road traffic collision.

"One crew from Dorchester attended and made the scene safe, no-one was trapped."
