Rihanna Prepares To Rock London Fashion Week

Victoria Beckham, Madonna and Kate Moss have all turned their attention to fashion design, and now Rihanna is preparing to showcase her first collection of clothing and accessories, at London Fashion Week.

Ahead of the launch of her line, for high street chain River Island, Rihanna tweeted: "My first fashion show!!! My designs will walk the catwalks of London Fashion Week in days!! It's gonna be MAJAH!#RihannaForRiverIsland"

She later added: "Fashion gods will be in the building!!

The star has been careful not to let much slip about her new collection, though she has described it as "casual, chique and flirty".

In a photo Rihanna tweeted from the set of an ad campaign for the River Island line, she appeared to be wearing a black, long-sleeved top and shorts with a grey jumper tied around her waist.

It has also been claimed that some of the outfits she has been spotted wearing recently are a taster of what's to come, including a navy blue, velour jumpsuit.

The collection will go on sale on March 5.

London designer Zoe Jordan is opening London Fashion Week and there will be more than 50 catwalk shows during the five-day event including collections from Vivienne Westwood, Christopher Kane and Alice Temperley.
